Day 1: The Journey So Far
I’m taking a moment to reflect on the journey so far. Life has been many things: beautiful, messy, unpredictable, painful, and deeply rewarding. If there’s one thing I’ve come to appreciate, it’s that no part of the journey has been wasted. Every season whether one of joy or heartbreak has shaped me into who I am today.
I look back to the early years, the innocence of childhood, the dreams I held close without knowing what the world would demand in return. The teenage years brought their own battles figuring out identity, trying to "belong", questioning everything. And then adulthood came, suddenly and without warning, Billings everywhere, responsibilities, decisions, and constant need for growth.
In these years, I’ve lived through moments I never imagined I could endure, and experienced blessings I never thought I deserved. I’ve laughed until I cried and cried until I could no longer breathe (in the past sha). I’ve lost things and a few people I thought I couldn’t live without and discovered strength I didn’t know I had.
The journey so far has taught me that life doesn’t come with a roadmap. Sometimes, it’s about moving forward even when the path is blurry. Sometimes, it's about standing still and healing. Other times, it's about leaping into the unknown even if your knees are shaking.
I’m grateful for the people who walked beside me, even for a season. I’m thankful for the lessons learned, even the ones that hurt. And most importantly, I’m proud of myself for showing up every day, for choosing growth, and for not giving up.
As I reflect on this journey, I know I still have a long way to go. But today, I honor the road I’ve already walked. And I open my heart to all that’s ahead.
Here’s to growth, grace, and gratitude.
